Over the last 24 hours this active region has been crackling away with small scale C-class flare activity and displays a beta-gamma-delta magnetic field. Taken with the 70mm PST mod at 1000mm focal length with the DMK31 camera.

AR11730 looks quite picturesque as it approaches the suns western limb as it crackles away with small scale flare activity. Taken with the 70mm PST mod @ 1000mm fl with the DMK31.
