The sun had plenty of big, active prominences today, and these were all taken with the 127mm @ 1900mm fl with the DMK31.

AR11564 3rd September
Another large spot grouping that shows plenty of promise for flare activity in the days ahead. At the time of this image a small C-class flare was underway.
S1896 - Undesignated Active Region 3rd september
As yet undesignated this little active region has already spawned spots and shows a dynamic magnetic field.
