Ha Sun 30th August
The clouds cleared by late evening so I was able to take a look at our star in Ha wavelengths.
CaK Sun 30th August
The day started with clear blue skies and so decent transparency, so I decided to take a look at the sun in CaK. Full disk 60mm f10 zwo183mm, closeups 80mm f15 zwo290mm.

Quiet Sun 22nd August
The sun has plenty of activity but is fairly quiet in terms of flare activity and the like. Taken with a pair of Lunt50 etalons on the 60mm f6 scope, a 2x cemax running on a short nosepiece and the zwo183mm camera. The etalons were not playing today getting on band without tilt, I need to look at a way of permanently screwing the etalons onto the scope rather than them being attached to the OTA by means of a cell.
