Calcium Sunshine 6th April
Finally a bit of time, and despite storm Kathleen bringing gales and skies filled with Saharan dust an opportunity to observe. Trying out the custom Cak filter here, an Alluxa 0.14nm double stacked with a CaK PST filter, seems to offer an improvement in terms of a narrower bandpass with more contrast. Hopefully better conditions soon will allow further testing.

A new filter tilter now allows further fine tuning of the CaK system...
Just need some decent spells of sunshine to be able to experiment with this a bit more, the setup has promise!
