A Busy Strip Down The West - 1st April

The whole western hemisphere of the sun was looking fantastic on the 1st april will departing active regions, filaments, filaproms and great prominences.  The view through the 32mm eyepiece on the double stacked quark was mesmerising.  This image is a mosaic made with the ED80 scope, a 0.6x reduction factor and the DMK31 camera.  Hopefully there will be plenty more activity like this coming round the solar limb when this lot goes in the next couple of days.
