AR11476 - Crackling With Energy...

Monster active region AR11476 continues to crackle with flare energy; it is a very complex active region with atleast 3 magnetic delta areas. With 3 large C-class flares in less than 24hours NASA has now increased the probability of M-class flares to 75% and X-class flare probability increasing to 10%. As it gradually becomes geo-effective then so the chances of a space-weather event affecting Earth is also increasingly more likely. Earth is quite insignificant size wise in comparison.
