CaK Full Disk 15th July
I thought when I was taking this image that the warm weather we are experiencing at the moment would have a detrimental effect on the seeing conditions, but this was not the case and infact it held up remarkably well. When I came to post processing these images there was minimal sharpening that was needed. The sun is very quiet at the moment, with the few very inactive regions about to pass over the western limb with not much following in the east. Activity looks to remain very low for a good couple of days ahead atleast. This image was taken with the 40mm scope at 700mm focal length with the DMK31 camera.
