Sunny weather reigns supreme here in the UK, with the hottest day of the year so far in many places in the country. Despite the warm temperatures the sun itself is remarkably quiet, most of the activity about to pass over the western limb with only newly developing active region sitting pretty much dead centre on the solar disk. Sadly looking at the STEREO spaceprobe images nothing is about to come round the limb any time soon. Hopefull will pick up again for the weeknd!!
