Solar X-ray Event: M1.5 Class Flare | July 03, 2013

A huge new active region, AR11785, has just come over the Suns eastern limb, and within hours of becoming visible has thrown off an M-class flare.  The coming days could prove interesting for solar observation in the UK, especially with high pressure and clear skies forecast for the weekend.
