Don't get too excited about this, it was a little one, but the first i've seen for a while! Another day when i've said lots of expletives about the weather forecast; clear skies were forecast again for today, and following a band of rain passing through overnight I was optimistic. However just after 9am instability set up in the atmposphere and went from clear skies to cloudy in a matter of minutes. I'd set up ready so decided to fish the gaps, lining up on the remains of the active region I was pleasantly surprised to see it flaring. A B1.8 whopper!!!
I'd got the 100mm Tal on the area so just decided to snap away gaps permitting:
Initial brightening
Peak with nice little arch
Decay
All drama today!
