Ha Full Disk 5th April
Despite being spotless and just a region of plage, AR12759 still shows plenty of plasma flows following the magnetic field lines - double click the image for a closer view. A rather nice prominence also graced the disk, and subtle, but definitely there are a number of small filaments in the southern hemisphere that make the position of the cycle 25 jetstream, indicative that the new cycle activity is just below the solar surface. The image was taken with the Lunt 50 etalon of the 60mm f6 scope, double stacked with the Daystar Quark and using the PGR GH3 U3 916M camera.
