AR12130 is one of a number of active regions that have rounded the suns eastern limb over the past couple of days, and this entire region in the solar southern hemisphere has been crackling with M-class flare activity, with NASA predicting the potential for more in the days ahead, infact there is a forecast of a 30% chance of polar geomagnetic storms here on Earth on august 2nd as a result of this increase in solar activity.  The image above was taken with the 40mm scope at 700mm focal length with the DMK31 camera.
